I am an Ontario Certified Teacher with specialization in Math. I have 10+ years of tutoring experience. I also have qualifications in Guidance and Career Education, and am currently the Career Services Coordinator in a post secondary institution. I have been working successfully with students testing for Policing exams, RCMP exams, and College Acceptance exams. I work with you on understanding the reasoning behind the math involved in your test questions, making the most of your time with strategies to get through your questions as quick as possible (as you're on a tight timeline during the exam), and improving your math skills and math self esteem! I worked at the Learning Disabilities Association working with students from elementary to high school in math, literacy and computer skills; I worked with students with all different needs and abilities. I have taught abroad working with English Second Language students explaining topics in a variety of ways to combat the language barrier. Moreover, with my qualifications in Guidance and Career Education and work experience, I have the background and knowledge to help students with resumes, cover letters, interview skills, job search, and career counselling.
